Terms of Service
Effective 20 June 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SWDIO (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SWDIO lets restaurants create digital QR-code menus with photos, prices, translations and table-side ordering. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the product.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You must be at least 16 and authorised to act for the restaurant you represent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: uploading unlawful, infringing or misleading content; violating others’ rights; attempting to breach security or access data that isn’t yours; overloading or disrupting the platform; or using it to send spam. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the menus, images and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and your guests. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for the accuracy of prices, allergens and other information you publish to your guests.
6. Our intellectual property
The SWDIO software, branding and design are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.
7. Fees
Any paid plans or services (for example, professional menu-creation services) will be described and priced before you purchase. Where the Service is offered free of charge or in beta, we may change or introduce fees with reasonable advance notice.
8. Availability & disclaimer
We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SWDIO is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or where required by law. Upon deletion, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
